Terms of Use
Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Speedo360 app for Android or iOS, Speedo360 Premium, or this website. Speedo360 (“we”, “us”) provides them. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
2. Safety comes first
Speedo360 is a driving aid, not a replacement for your own attention. You are always responsible for how you drive.
- Obey the posted speed limits and traffic laws. They take priority over anything the app shows.
- Speed limits come from OpenStreetMap, a map made by volunteers. They can be missing, wrong or out of date, and the app may match you to the wrong road.
- GPS speed is an estimate. It can lag, jump or drop out, for example in tunnels or between tall buildings.
- Set the app up before you drive, and don’t touch your phone while driving.
- Mount the phone securely so it doesn’t block your view or slide around. For the windshield HUD, lay it flat where it can’t move, and check your local rules about items on the dashboard.
- Use the performance timer only where it’s legal and safe, such as a closed track. Never on public roads.
3. The free app and Premium
The speedometer, speed limits and alerts, and the live trip meter are free, with a small banner ad. Speedo360 Premium adds extra features and removes the ads. The app lists exactly what Premium includes.
- Billing. Premium is a subscription, billed by Google Play or the App Store to the account you buy with. The plans and their prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your currency, including any taxes the store adds.
- Plans. Monthly or yearly. The yearly plan may start with a free trial for people who haven’t had Premium before. When the trial ends, the yearly price is charged unless you cancel before then.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Cancelling and changing plans. You can do both at any time in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings. The app links to them. Premium stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and a plan change starts at your next billing date.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled under Google Play’s or Apple’s refund policy. If something went wrong, email us and we’ll help.
- Price changes. If the price of your plan changes, the store tells you before it applies, and you can cancel.
- Restoring. On a new phone, use Restore Purchases in the app with the same store account.
4. Using the app fairly
- The app is for your personal use. Don’t resell it, or get around Premium or the ads.
- Don’t copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
- Map and speed-limit data are © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
The app relies on other services: Google Play or the App Store, RevenueCat for subscriptions, Google AdMob for ads, Google Maps for the mini map and OpenStreetMap for speed limits. Each has its own terms, and they can be unavailable at times.
5. No warranty
We work hard to make Speedo360 accurate and reliable, but we provide it “as is”. As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free or always available, or that speeds, speed limits, trips or timer results will be accurate.
6. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for fines, tickets, accidents, injuries or damage that arise from driving, from relying on the app, or from wrong or missing data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for Premium in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded.
7. Changes and ending
We may change the app, its features or these terms. If a change to these terms matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app and cancelling Premium in your store. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of British Columbia, unless the consumer laws of the place where you live give you the right to bring it at home.
9. If you got the app from the App Store
Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to apps from the App Store, and these terms add to it. These terms are between you and Speedo360, not Apple.
Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its content, doesn’t provide maintenance or support for it, and isn’t responsible for claims about it, such as product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries can enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.
